Man Transported to Hospital After Accidental Discharge at Gun Show

At 10:57 AM Skamania County 911 Center received a call of an accidental discharge of a firearm at the American Legion Hall in Carson, WA.

Skamania County Sheriff’s Deputies and Skamania County EMS responded and immediately transported the patient to South West Washington Medical Center. The patient is being treated for a gunshot wound to the upper thigh from a 45 caliber handgun.

The American Legion was hosting a gun show at their facility that the patient was attending. The patient is a 53 year old Stevenson, WA resident.
