Shooting Investigation ongoing in North Bonneville, WA

The Skamania County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the shooting of two male subjects this evening in the City of North Bonneville, Washington.  Both shooting victims have been transported to Southwest Washington medical center in Vancouver.  The extent of injuries of both victims is unknown at this time.

At approximately 7:15 pm this evening, deputies responded to a call of a burglary in progress at an apartment complex on Yehuh street in North Bonneville.  A second 911 call reported that someone had been shot.

Deputies arrived on scene to find a male subject, who resides at the apartment, with a gunshot wound to the face.  The second victim, also a male subject had left the scene.   A short time later, deputies received information that the second victim was at the Washougal Police Department.  Medics and law enforcement contacted the second victim and he was transported to the hospital.

A third male subject, who is also resident at the apartment, has been detained and transported to the Skamania County jail.

Deputies are attempting to locate a female resident of the apartment who was questioned briefly at the scene and then left the area.  Her whereabouts at this time are unknown.

The firearm used in the incident has been recovered by law enforcement.

This investigation is in the very early stages and interviews of involved parties are being conducted as time and distance allow.

Until such time that deputies can confirm the identity of all involved parties the names will not be released.
