Autopsy Conducted On Body Discovered At Dougan Falls

An autopsy was conducted yesterday by the Clark County Medical Examiner on the body  of a white male adult discovered at the Dougan Falls recreation area Saturday morning.   The autopsy revealed that the man died as a result of homicidal violence. The manner of death will not be released at this time.

The deceased has been identified but his name is not being released until next of kin can be notified.  Skamania County Sheriff’s investigators will be following up on information obtained after identification of the man was made.

We currently have reason to believe the homicide occurred within 6-8 hours prior to the discovery of the body.
