On 04/09/26, Skamania County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center had received several calls from residents stating they were called by a subject identifying himself as Lieutenant Dan Stephens. The subject states that he was employed with the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office and telling them they have already had two uniformed officers outside their residence to arrest them for failure to appear on their charges. The subject would tell the people they are not allowed to hang up. Skamania County Sheriff’s Office does not have anyone employed by the name Dan Stephens, nor do we have lieutenants.
