03/03/2023

During the early morning hours in Carson, Washington, Skamania County law enforcement personnel served a search warrant near the 100 block of Fuller Road. The search warrant was granted after a month-long investigation conducted by Skamania County law enforcement personnel. After conducting a search of the residence, law enforcement officials located over 200 Fentanyl pills, Heroin, Methamphetamine, L.S.D., over $1,000.00, and packaging materials. Two Skamania County residents, William Konoske III, 37, and Erika Essex, 29, both of Carson, were also taken into custody and transported to the Skamania County Correctional Facility. Konoske and Essex are being held on a variety of charges.

“The exceptional work of Deputy Brandon Van Pelt and Detective Christian Lyle made this investigation possible and removed large amounts of Fentanyl, along with other dangerous drugs, from our streets and made our community safer today,” stated Sheriff Summer Scheyer. “I am so proud of their effort and the incredible outcome of their hard work.”
