Message from Sheriff Scheyer:
09/10/2026 –Beginning 05/01/2027, Washington state citizens will be required to obtain a permit to purchase or transfer a firearm per R.C.W. 9.41.121. Although I vehemently oppose this unconstitutional law, I believe it is imperative to provide Skamania County citizens with information in preparation for this change.
